We have an exciting opportunity within the fitness industry for a customer service and escalations specialist to join our Central Member Services department and drive change that's for the best – for our people, our members and the industry. Our Central Member Services department is the home of member interaction at the Support Office and we are seeking a self-motivated and customer-focused person to further expand our member service offerings.
As a Membership Account Services Assistant, you will be joining a vibrant team responsible for taking inbound calls from members and clubs and will assist with all member account-related enquiries including; account changes, club requests, time freeze requests, billing queries and credit transactions.
This full-time role is based at our head office here in Bondi Junction. We also have a 6-month contract opportunity available.
What you'll do:
Take all inbound calls from both club staff and members that relate to membership account changes and requests and process these accurately using Members First.
Process all membership account requests that come in via the Fitness First website and process these accurately using Members First.
Process all club generated requests in relation to the member's account in Members First (via the Support Offices Comms form).
Membership account changes, enquiries and requests will include (but are not limited to): time freeze requests, account update requests, personal details changes, tax receipt requests, billing queries, membership change queries (upgrades, downgrades, transfers, return to full access requests), credit transactions and debt write off.
Ensure priority is given to servicing members with a friendly approach and within agreed time frames.
Escalate all difficult requests/complaints to the Customer Service & Escalations Team via the Complaint Handover Log.
Communicate failed vetting outcomes back to the Sales Manager and Club Manager.
What you Should Bring:
Demonstrable experience in providing 5-star customer service as well as system administration experience.
- Experience in successfully resolving customer complaints
Excellent phone manner, confidence and strong administration skills will ensure member enquiries are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
Written skills, have impeccable attention to detail, be well organised and have good time management skills.
